Our client a large financial institution is looking for a highly skilled NetworkEngineer to join their team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing network as well as providing production support on mission critical network
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions that meet the organization's network and security requirements.
- Contribute expertise towards a proposed technical solution and will work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
- Provide level 3 support, assisting with troubleshooting and design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices in network technology and security.
- Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Proactively monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Maintaining accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Providing regular reports on network health, performance, and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experiance in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper), and wireless networking( Cisco, Aruba)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF)
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex network issues, identify root causes and perform remediation activities.
- Working knowledge of standard ITIL process, Incident, Change, Problem and configuration management.
- Preferred certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent industry certifications.Good level of understanding in complex troubleshooting and resolving issues with clients
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven solution architecture and design experience
