Primary purpose
Accountant required for small office with head office in Australia and subsidiary office in Indonesia. Company is expanding and needs to engage in a full-time accountant reporting to the Regional Finance Manager in Singapore. Intermittent travel is expected to Indonesia and/or Australia.
Position Impact

Specific Responsibilities
- Maintain full set accounts including P&L, general ledger, balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly and yearly financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare monthly Statement of Account (SOA).
- Maintain multiple bank accounts.
- Prepare GST reconciliation report.
- Support external audit and tax matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Filing and keeping of all electronic and manual data in line with Singapore law.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting policies.
- Perform Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Finance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in full set accounting.
- Bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge in Oracle accounting software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
- Meticulous and detailed.
Remuneration and Benefits
- SGD $5,000 to SGD $7,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
- Performance based bonuses and salary revisions.
Safety Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and report all known and identified hazards and incidents in the workplace.
- Stop the task where there is an imminent risk beyond the acceptable tolerance of the guidelines in the risk evaluation matrix and escalate to the Manager as per the escalation protocols.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Safety Health & Sustainability Management System procedures and protocols at all times.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement.
