Job Description:
The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and customer insights to ensure the cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, reliable, and well-documented. A deep understanding of automation and configuration management tools is essential, along with experience in cloud migration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Operations & Administration: Apply technical knowledge to administer cloud infrastructure, ensuring configurations align with design documentation, while meeting performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
Automation & Configuration Management: Codify or implement cloud configurations using automation tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform. Maintain systems in an automated fashion, documenting all configurations for future reference.
Cloud Migrations: Participate in cloud migration projects, especially for virtual machines (VMs) and databases. Experience in migrating over 20 VMs using tools like Cloud Endure or Azure Migrate is preferred.
Project Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to engage with project, participate in operational meetings, and contribute to process improvements and optimizations for the project's cloud environment.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolve cloud infrastructure issues while adhering to SLAs, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
Skills Maintenance & Knowledge Sharing: Keep up to date with market trends, certifications, and cloud technologies. Share knowledge within the technical community to drive cloud innovation and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in managing and operating cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to deploy cloud systems with a focus on automation using tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Experience in cloud migration projects, especially using Cloud Endure or Azure Migrate for large-scale VM or database migrations.
- Ability to collaborate with project, contribute to operational discussions, and drive optimizations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues promptly and document solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and thorough documentation.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
- Experience in process optimization and enhancing cloud environments.
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Mandatory Skills:
Azure and AWS (Cloud skills –AKS, APIM, APIGateway, NSG,Azure Firewall)
