Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Technician with experience in repairing, servicing, and troubleshooting engines and electrical circuits. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in maintaining a variety of equipment and generators. If you enjoy working hands-on with machinery, we invite you to join our team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and service of equipment/engines including Cummins, Volvo, Perkins, Caterpillar, and Deutz
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and electronic circuits, control panel faults, and electronic engines
- Test and commission engines and generators after repair or servicing
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics
- Conduct equipment surveys to assess repair/service needs
- Repair or construct engine wiring harnesses and alternator wirings
- Construct, replace, or modify control panels (AC/DC) for engines and generators
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure the service area is well-organized
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical repair
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems independently
- Proficiency in reading electrical and electronic drawings
- Knowledge of engine testing and commissioning processes
