Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Researcher (12 months contract) with a background in science, food science, or a related field. This role will involve conducting various analytical tests and working closely with our R&D and Quality teams to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing and experiments on food products, ingredients, and raw materials to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret results and make recommendations for product development and improvement.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring all processes follow industry standards and company protocols.
- Record, analyze, and report data accurately, contributing to the continuous improvement of lab processes and results.
- Assist in developing and optimizing methods for testing and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all laboratory activities.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in food, science, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting a variety of tests and experiments.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional, diverse teams.
