A Medical Affairs Manager DC, Asia Pacific is an experienced people leader and strategic thinker that aligns country medical affairs objectives with regional and global direction to deliver on data generation, knowledge exchange/data communications and lead thought leader engagement. The MCCL develops and executes medical initiatives to support the medical strategy/medical plan and lead and develop the team of medical value partners in their country and/or cluster.
The Opportunity
- Be the trusted source of medical and scientific insights to the organization and provide medical insights for strategy development, initiatives and projects in the region
- Develop medical strategy, medical affairs plan and ensure the integration with disease strategy and alignment with commercial strategies from business and customer areas
- Identify, map and develop regional clinician KOLs in close collaboration with the affiliates and cross-functional teams; maintain the regional KOL database and tools; develop KOL engagement programs and drive guideline update and shape clinical practice with high medical value diagnostic solutions; build and maintain relationship with the top regional KOLs
- Develop medical education programs and contents; deliver and support the medical education initiatives and activities to clinicians and other healthcare stakeholders
- Identify the evidence gap, develop evidence generation strategy, initiate clinical and scientific studies in the region and drive publications and the use of the evidence in clinical adoption
- Provide medical and scientific insight to external stakeholders to support and address clinical adoption of diagnostic solutions, communicate and manage the off-label use upon unsolicited request - Develop medical affairs role and expertise of the APAC MSA community in the responsible disease area and drive the key initiatives of the APAC MSA community
- Provide medical and scientific support to commercial, market access, patient access and innovation activities as required - Provide training and education to internal stakeholders to build the awareness and expertise on the medical value of diagnostic solutions
- Provide medical governance to the development of medical content, review and approve medical and scientific contents in promotional materials.
- Be the APAC MSA interface with global CDMA to raise the needs of APAC and bridge the communication and collaboration between CDMA and APAC affiliates
Who you are
- You should holder a degree or higher in relevant major in medical and have at least 7 years of experience in relevant business function and industry.
- You should be able to travel at least 30% of the time.
