Responsibilities:
Program Support Activities
- Develop and deliver training within the scope of ATM system contracts.
- Develop and maintain the training syllabus including:Production and maintenance of training methods/tooling and documentation as directed by the Training Manager.
Maintenance of eLearning syllabus/content.
Managing access to eLearning as required by project/program requirements. - Provide operational support to V&V:Contributing to test validation on time and on budget, in cooperation with the customer representatives, during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at the program’s relevant site
- Contributing operational concept/context to the correction and validating the Problem Change Reports (PCR’s) in coordination with the other teams (e.g. System Engineering, V&V)
- Contribute to the maintenance of traceability between customer requirements and the functional baseline
- Support Technical Working groups both internally and externally to define technical solutions that are operationally fit-for-purpose.
- Develop and conduct test procedures in conformity with specifications in order to ensure customers’ acceptance of ATM products.
- Provide system use guidance to existing and potential customers when required.
- Deliver ATC Awareness training as required to internal AMS teams.
Bid and Strategic Business Activity
- Provide ATS support and advice to the Thales Engineering and Marketing teams.
- Support development of Sales & Marketing Department product demonstrations in responding to Requests for Tender.
- Deliver product demonstrations to:prospective clients
client management, technical and operations personnel. - Review and provide feedback of proposed enhancements of the TopSky product [product roadmap]
- Assist the Operational Support and Training Manager with preparation/validation of AOS estimates in the context of projects/bids
General
- Prioritisation of competing deadline activities
- Identify risks, and propose effective solutions; execute mitigation actions and report on outcomes and residual risks
- Provide recommendations to Lead ATC Operations Specialist and Operational Authorities on modification of ATM related products/features.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of Operational ATC experience across multiple disciplines.
- Firm understanding and demonstrated experience in training development and instruction.
- Significant ATM product knowledge or at least 2 years as a member of a Project Team involved in the implementation of a modern ATM system
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Capable of working in a self-directed environment without direct supervision
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment,

- Willingness to undertake periodic interstate or international travel as part of project/program support.
- ATM End users in-the-field use of Thales solutions / products.
- Operational activities, organisations, roles and customer decision making processes when implementing Thales solutions / products.
- The trend of the evolutions of the strategic operational approaches and the future needs of the customers / users.
- Air Traffic Control Licence (Current or previously held) will be added advantage.
- Knowledge in Operating System [UNIX, Linux, Windows] will be added advantage.
