The position is responsible for providing assistance to the Project Manager/Implementation Manager in Implementation and Internal and External Enhancement projects. They are required to work with various internal stakeholders (Department Managers, Operations Managers, Regional Account Managers) and external stakeholders (Customers) in order to on board and stabilise new businesses.
Job Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage and execute implementation/on boarding of new businesses.
- Support the Program/Project Manager on various Internal and External customer projects and initiatives by;
- Creating GANTT Charts in MS Excel
- Project Flow Diagrams
- Writing and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Conducting training with local branch offices
- Managing key progress meetings and providing regular updates to the project/implementation stakeholders
- Developing Report Automation
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) enhancement and deployment
- New EDI implementation with IT
- Process enhancement
- Create and review Work Instruction (WI) developed by other account teams
- Provide consultation and support on business aspects for Regional IT
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation/International Business and 2 years working experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry, Air/Ocean freight experience is a plus.
- Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in other languages is a bonus as to liaise with other regional offices.
- Proficient in MS Office and Teams.
- Experience in at least one aspect of freight forwarding operations either Export or Import, with both experiences will be added advantage.
- Detail oriented and good time management.
- A good team player.
- Responsible and able to work remotely to deliver key task completed on time.
