Job description
Our esteemed client is looking for a Application Support Engineer to help with the following key responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve application-related issues within SLA
- Collaborate with others including developers and the infrastructure team to resolve complex issues and to implement long-term solutions
- Report status and progress of open incident tickets to technical lead on a regular basis
- Participate in enhancement of the applications (including documentation and testing)
- Support annual industry testing, regulatory requirements testing, in test and production environments
- Perform standby duty (24x7) on rotational basis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of Java, J2EE Software Programming skills
- Basic understanding of Solaris and/or Linux OS such as RHEL is required
- ·Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment
