Working hours: Mon to Fri 8.30 am to 6.00pm
Responsibilities
- Builds rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer's business and the market
- Assesses the type and size of customer needs and recommends solutions based on these needs by using industry knowledge
- Closes business connecting a customer need with a solution and the value it may create for the customers
- Gathers customer and market information to update product and trade land on current conditions
- Supports customer retention by conducting joints visits with Product, TL and organizing workshops inviting customers to share information on updated regulations, products, etc.
- Ensures successful retention of customers by maintaining close liaison with them, ascertaining their satisfaction level via DHL Global Forwarding service standards and to anticipate and/or prevent potential problems.
- Uses networks within the various Sales channels to collaborate on customers, marketing strategies and offers a full supply chain of services to service customer needs.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements
- Proven track record in developing and growing business with assigned portfolio of customers through RFQ, customised solutions selling
- Good understanding of sector trends in the freight forwarding industry
- Minimum Diploma/ degree with more than 3 years of relevant working experience
