Desktop Support - L3

Responsibility & Requirement

  • Engage as a business partner with business and technology leaders; identify win-win solutions, frame decisions for senior leaders to make trade offs, and build trust with peers and senior leaders
  • Take ownership of your team’s execution, identifying and removing blockers/bottlenecks
  • Delegate assignments and lead resource allocation for your team
  • Lead a team of individual contributors to execute and drive success on projects and/or global application support within your functional domain
  • Perform audits to ensure all assets information and change of asset status are being recorded into the asset management system by managed services IT vendor
  • Assist to conduct analysis and plan necessary resources at least 6 months in advance – people, money – required to deliver technology solutions to the business
  • Contribute to the execution of IT governance and compliance processes and procedures
  • Involved regionally and work with other GXS teams to provide operational perspective on products and services
  • Rotational pagerduty shifts to support business needs
  • Initiative in building new ways of working to improve operational excellence
  • At least 5 years in supporting IT operations or related in the IT
  • Able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing MacOS, Windows OS
  • Experience in OS and Browser Hardening (preferably CIS)
  • Experience in Patch management
  • Experience in managing the IT team and stakeholders
  • Experience in managing IT projects
  • Lead in writing guideline and SOPs
