My client is a Singapore-based company specializing in consultancy services within the Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) sector. They focus on improving efficiency in commodity supply chains, trading, and risk management. Their services cover various commodities, including oil, LNG, metals, coal, and agriculture, and they offer solutions like CTRM implementation, data analytics, and risk modelling.
They are seeking a Principal Consultant who will have the opportunity to participate in the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
Area of Responsibility:
- Understanding and assessing clients’ needs in the commodity trading and risk management domain.
- Translating client requirements into comprehensive CTRM / ETRM solutions.
- Working with various teams to implement and configure CTRM / ETRM systems.
- Providing guidance on configuration, testing and deployment or CTRM / ETRM solutions.
- Collaborating with clients to identify and recommend improvements in trading and risk management processes.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of proven experience as a Business Consultant in the CTRM / ETRM domain.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of commodity trading, risk management and industry practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and implementing CTRM / ETRM systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for projects.
- Basic understanding of any programming languages (Java, C#, C++, VBA, Python etc.)
