Overview:
A leading electronics manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a wide range of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and compliance with SGX listing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel on corporate governance matters.
- Manage mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture transactions.
- Ensure compliance with SGX listing requirements and other relevant regulations.
- Advise on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright protection.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
- Manage data protection and privacy compliance.
- Provide legal support for international business operations.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from a reputable law school.
- 8 years of experience as a corporate attorney, preferably with a focus on capital markets and corporate governance.
- Strong understanding of Singapore corporate law and relevant regulations.
- Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
