Job Mandate
The Project Manager Officer is primarily responsible for managing projects for Singapore Branch. He/She assists the Commercial Banking Head and Chief Executive to formulate the Business Recovery Plan and ensuring that projects and activities of the branch support business priorities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Project Management
· Responsible for a portfolio of process enhancement, product development, or process automation projects
· Prepare a detailed project plan outlining key milestone, workstreams, and activities; manage project delivery according to this plan
· Track project progress and provide regular reports on status to the project team and key stakeholders.
· Manage and adjust for changes in project priority, scope, schedule, and budget.
· Identify, escalate and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
· Oversee communication and relationships with project stakeholders
· Manage internal resources and/or external vendors to ensure successful project completion
· Coordinating diverse teams including internal and third-party members.
· Applies good project management practices such as techniques in resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled
· Articulates problems, bring the right people together to solve problems and know when the problem has been properly addressed and closed
· Applies lessons learned from recent projects to future projects
Business Management Support
· Act as contact point person accross all Business Units, especially in terms of business risk and control, operational matters, information dissemination, co-ordination on general queries and escalation, regulatory and compliance matters, and other business initiatives
· Perform Risk Management and Control tasks (e.g. KRI monitoring, incident reporting, audit point closures, RM scorecard monitoring, etc.)
· Support Center Heads with various business Initiatives; represent Front Office in regular process enhancement and new product working groups
· Support Center Heads Monitor Key Performance Indicators.
· Collaborate with MIS and Finance to support Center Heads in monitoring, tracking and analyzing individual and team important metrics.
· Facilitate discussions between RMs/ARMs and support partners in clarification/resolution of business issues (e.g. payment/AML queries).
· Facilitate readiness and participation in business contingency planning (BCP).
