Job Descriptions
- To assist the Purchasing department in preparing the Purchase Order and other internal documents as required based on correct specifications
- Comparing freight charges from different forwarders for all import shipments.
- Responsible for coordinating shipments with suppliers locally and overseas to warehouse
- Liaison with Finance, Warehousing, 3rd party couriers to ensure goods are received in satisfactory quality and quantity
- Plan weekly import shipments schedule for warehouse.
- Handling day to day paperwork to ensure smooth flow of goods deliveries
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- PC Literate – particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent eye for detail
- Be able to input data accurately
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Adaptable, flexible and highly-organised team player
- Affinity with the products
- Prior experience in Shipping Coordination is a MUST
