Description
The QA/QC Engineer (Engineering) is responsible to review the Engineering Drawings related to Quality inputs for various discipline such as civil, tankage, piping, equipment, steel structures, electrical and instrumentation etc.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the distribution of engineering documents
- Ensure inter-disciplinary check is carried out.
- Ensure IDC comments are adequately incorporated before IFA.
- Monitor status of Technical Query.
- Participate in the review of the Technical Bid Evaluation from vendors.
- Ensure ADNOC comments related to Quality are incorporated prior to issuing the next revision.
- Review Isometric Drawings.
- Review Weld Map.
- Participate in Safety Studies.
Requirements
- Preferably Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Civil).
- Possess Quality Management System (QMS) Lead Assessor (ISO9001).
- Possesses valid certification for welding and inspection personnel (CSWIP) 3.1 or American Welding Society (AWS) certified welding inspector level 2.
- 10 years’ experience with knowledge in welding, painting, engineering coordination.
- Knowledge in International Codes and Standards (API 650/API 620/ASME B31.3/ASME B31.1/AWS D1.1)
