Responsibilities:
1. Initiate market research by gathering current market information on customer insights, competitor analysis, and new product segments, and analyze findings.
2. Brainstorm merchandising strategies and be responsible for the execution of effective marketing campaigns and promotional events.
3. Constantly review processes and execute necessary controls to improve and support the operational efficiency of the store.
4. Establish and maintain effective sales margins and implement price controls that maximize profit and benefit the customers at the same time.
5. Establish good relationships and conduct regular reviews with vendors.
6. Promote and develop own branded product to ensure it is competitive in the market.
7. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by The Management.
Requirements:
1. Degree or above in Marketing, Retail Management, Purchasing and Supply Management or equivalent.
2. Singapore Citizens are welcome.
3.3 years' relevant working experience in the retail industry of petrol stations preferred.
4. Knowledge of statutory & regulatory requirements in Singapore
5. Strong sourcing network and knowledge in contractual management.
6. Bilingual in Chinese and English as this role needs to associate with Chinese speaking parties.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
