Job Purpose:
To provide backroom support for Customer Service Operations, relating to policy payouts, dealing
with Policyholders, Distribution Representative and Financial Consultants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and managing policyholders and
business partners’ request for surrender / policy loan / withdrawal. You will also be involved in our
cheque-free initiative and other projects within the team.
Job Scope:
- Verify and process applications related to Payments services team
- Full and Partial Surrenders of Traditional and ILP plans
- Policy FreeLook
- Termination of term and A&H plans
- Loans
- Survival and Cash Benefits
- Maturity and Annuity
- Handle general queries from touchpoints, policyholders and internal colleagues
- Liaise with other departments, including Bancassurance, Claims, Group Risk Management on
payment services related cases - Support the Unit and Section Lead in workflow documentation
- Adhere to the Compliance and Risk Management Framework, i.e. AML / Terrorists Financing / Fraud guidelines and ensure that transactions performed are within stipulated matrix; Escalate suspicious requests to seniors or Unit Head
Our Requirements
• Diploma/ Degree in Insurance, Business or equivalent professional qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software applications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
