Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and repair structures such as cabinets, furniture, and building frameworks
- Install doors, windows, and hardware
- Build and install stairs, railings, and other fixtures
- Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining, and painting
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Work with a variety of materials including wood, drywall, and roofing materials
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to work in a team environment
