Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Development Officer & Head, Project Management Office, the Project Management Manager (Manager, Project Management Office) will have the following responsibilities:
• Set and reinforce the vision for our Project Management Office in HQ
• Build and maintain the Project Management Office’s South Korea processes. Manage, together with the South Korea-based team, projects in Korea using the Group’s framework – adapting it to make it work. Supporting at project inception, project planning, project execution, and project closure.
• Increase Gurin’s ability to safely deliver projects in South Korea with speed, and with a strong, data-driven emphasis on metrics that drive the organisation.
• Coordinate the company’s projects in South Korea with functional experts (e.g. Operations, ESG, Legal, Finance, Strategy), contractors, partners and other stakeholders.
• Proactively flag risks and potential blockers, and determine path to mitigation / resolution / escalation.
• Ensure project compliance with all Gurīn processes and policies, contract terms and local laws.
• Communicate project progress to management
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO.
Job Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Korean.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent communcation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate concepts effectively to stakeholders.
- Experience in relevant project management leadership roles.
- Experience in developing and deploying Project Management processes and tools, and continuously improving them.
- At least 5 years experience working with Solar, Wind or BESS projects in South Korea.
- Master's in Business Administration or a similar/strong discipline
