Responsibilities:
- Send out notifications to ships about changes in navigation, port regulations, safety guidelines, training materials, and updates to documents.
- Keep track of acknowledgment receipts for notifications.
- Support in revising updates to important documents.
- Record and organize information on maritime incidents and accidents reported by vessels.
- Manage invoices for the department.
- Maintain the reference publication library for the department.
- Assist with various administrative tasks.
- Perform any other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma in marine engineering or similar field (maritime or engineering majors are preferred)
- At least 2 years’ work experience in oil trading industry and in similar role
- Knowledgeable on ISM, ISPS, MLC Audits as well as Flag states.
- Meticulous, diligent and professional
- Good drafting and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Words and Excel
