Deputy Director, Healthy Precinct, RHSO(6645)

Reporting to Director, Operations, RHS Office, the incumbent will Iead in developing healthy precincts and building community partnership to keep the community healthy.

Healthy Precinct is a geographical location with an environment and culture that supports residents to achieve and sustain healthy lifestyles.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead in conceptualising the overall strategy and framework for Healthy Precinct.
  • Plan and operationalise Health Precincts to achieve health-social integration with internal and community stakeholders.
  • Develop and track progress of workplans and workstreams on Healthy Precincts.
  • Develop and operationalise plan to empower community to take care of their health.
  • Create community culture to drive behavior towards leading a healthy lifestyle and emphasis on preventive care with community stakeholders.
  1. Build partnership with internal and community stakeholders e.g. grassroots organisations, social service agencies and healthcare providers to keep patients and residents healthy and integrated care across care settings.
  2. Develop and implement initiatives for integrated care and population health improvement.
  3. Lead and support the team
  • Ensure department is appropriately resourced to carry out its mission - people, funding, skill & technology
  • Develop team members to enhance their skills & harness their potential
  • Integrate team with the other RHSO departments & divisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in healthcare or business related fields
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in healthcare, corporate/strategic planning and partnership development, including minimum 5 years of leadership experience
  • Proven strategic thinking and planning ability
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
