This role is based in Singapore and responsible for assisting R&D team on all Electrical and Electronics/Power Electronics concepts, design and fabrication for high power (3 kW and beyond) new contactless charger products.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  1. Assist on design and implement power/control circuit for power converters, conduct design.
  2. validation tests and work cross-functionally with other development groups.
  3. Work closely with R&D Team, mechanical, field applications, and production teams for specifications, design, prototyping, and fabrication.
  4. Plan and schedule to meet goals, deliverables and deadlines.

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic/Power Electronics Engineering.
  2. Possess 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with more than 2 years of experience can consider for senior role.
  3. Basic knowledge in power electronics and power converters design, e.g., AC/DC, PFC, DC/DC, DC/AC, LLC and resonant converter.
  4. Good fundamentals in circuit design, circuit analysis and simulations, analog electronics and synthesis skills.
  5. Basic understanding of the characteristics of power semiconductors/passives components.
  6. Experience with wideband gap device, e.g., SiC and GaN is preferred.
  7. Practical and hands-on experience in PCB/PCA development (preferable Altium Designer), schematics design, PCB layout, library environment and PCBA production for product.
  8. Good interpersonal skills to enable global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional engagements.
  9. Able to work in start-up environment.
