We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager - Consulting to lead business development and sales efforts across the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling IT Consulting services with a strong focus on acquiring new logos and expanding client relationships in onshore and offshore project engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and win new logos in the APAC region, particularly in IT consulting projects. - Client Acquisition & New Logo Sales:
Identify, target, and close new business opportunities by acquiring new clients and expanding into new sectors. Build a pipeline of prospective customers and nurture them into clients. - Consulting Project Sales (Onshore & Offshore):
Sell consulting services (IT) that include both onshore and offshore delivery models. Position the value of onshore consulting for high-touch projects and offshore teams for cost-effective solutions. - Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders in potential client organizations. Leverage relationships to generate consulting project opportunities and ensure client satisfaction. - APAC Market Expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of the APAC region's consulting landscape, market trends, and customer needs. Tailor solutions to fit the unique requirements of each market. - Collaborate with Delivery Teams:
Work closely with internal consulting and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Sales Targets & Performance:
Meet or exceed sales targets for both new client acquisition and revenue growth from existing clients. Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management. - Proposal Development & Contract Negotiations:
Lead the creation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients. Negotiate terms and contracts in alignment with company goals and market standards.
Proven Experience in IT & Non-IT Sales:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or business development roles, preferably in IT consulting services.
New Business Acquisition Expertise:
Demonstrated ability to consistently win new logos and grow client portfolios across various industries.
Strong APAC Market Knowledge:
Experience in the APAC region with a deep understanding of the local markets, regulations, and business culture.
Consulting Sales Expertise:
Experience in selling consulting services for both onshore and offshore projects with a clear understanding of delivery models and client expectations.
Strong Networking & Relationship Skills:
A well-established network of contacts and the ability to build and nurture client relationships at senior levels.
Results-Oriented & Goal-Driven:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on long-term client success and revenue growth.
Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills:
Strong ability to present, negotiate, and close deals with senior decision-makers.
Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of key industry verticals such as banking, Insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and logistics is a plus.
