We are a boutique CPE registered school dedicated to empowering children with special needs through individualized, inclusive education. We are seeking a committed Deputy Head of School who shares our vision of nurturing each student's unique potential and creating pathways for lifelong success.


The Deputy Principal will assist the Head of School in overseeing the daily operations and management of our school. To foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students, including those with diverse learning needs, have equitable access to quality education. He will collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure the school meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of its diverse student body.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Administration:

  • Assist the Head of School in managing the overall operations of the school.
  • Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs to promote inclusivity.
  • Oversee curriculum development and ensure it meets the diverse needs of all students.
  • Take the lead on school projects and initiatives as assigned by the HOS.

Curriculum Management:

  • Assist HOS in the management of its curriculum design in collaboration with the Pedagogy team.
  • Support teachers in evaluating and assessing student learning and development.
  • Manage confidential student records and ensure appropriate teaching materials and resources are available.
  • Oversee the quality of teaching, providing support and coaching where needed.
  • Teaching on an ad hoc basis, where required.

Staff Management:

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate the teaching and non-teaching team to build a positive, collaborative, and high-energy school environment.
  • Coach and mentor the teaching and non-teaching team to enable them to realize their full potential in their performance.
  • Actively participate in classroom observation and give timely feedback and coaching to the teaching team to improve the teaching standards.
  • Set performance and development goals for the teaching and non-teaching team and evaluate performance against goals set.
  • Plan professional development for the school team through assessment of the training needs of the team.
  • Lead the selection and recruitment of teaching staff and non-teaching staff.
  • Manage staff scheduling, including relief covers during absences and resources for new programs or classes.

Student Management:

  • Actively participate in the admission process of new students into the school.
  • Responsible for the allocation of students to classes, taking into account age, friendship groupings, previous class placement, learning and development considerations, and any other relevant factors.
  • Ensure that the required child-staff ratios in all classes are met.

Marketing and Enrolment:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team in executing marketing strategies to achieve target student populations.
  • Lead the school’s parent liaison team in building strong relationships with existing and prospective parents.
  • Participate and lead marketing events and programs to promote the brand image of the school and the Group.
  • Interact with prospective parents, when possible, to explain the curriculum and the ethos of the school (e.g., conducting tours as required).

The ideal candidate would be:

  1. A master’s degree in education, special education, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in an inclusive or international school setting.
  3. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  4. Deep understanding of inclusive education and diversity in learning.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and parents.
  7. Proficiency in educational technology and data management systems.
  8. Experience with international curriculum (e.g., IB, Cambridge) and working with a diverse, multicultural student body.
