Requirements:
- Degree in Finance/Accountancy, CPA holder preferably with 8 years relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with exposure in the trading & manufacturing sector and/or fund management industry
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
- Good problem solver with strategic thinking abilities & possess good interpersonal skills
- Takes initiative and is a good team-player
- Strong sense of integrity
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and a full set of accounts.
- Prepare quarterly/half-yearly financial reports and board papers for a listed entity
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Prepare monthly analysis and review the financials of the listed entity and its overseas subsidiaries
- Formulate, review, and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist in all finance-related matters. This includes maintaining finance records, reconciliation, and managing the administration of finance processes.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time.
- Financial management and review of Sales, Inventory and Service activities and costs
- Preparing financial management reports, including monthly and annual financial planning and forecasting, advising on tax
- Co-ordinate the work through the process between management, bank relationship manager, and external auditor
- Ensure compliance with company policies and the relevant accounting standards
- Prepare journal entries with supporting documents in accordance with accounting principles and IFRS
