Sales Executive - Indoor Farm

We are a fast growing, innovative indoor farm specialising in growing and supplying high quality edible flowers and specialty greens to top tier restaurants and hotels. Our mission is to consistently deliver fresh and high quality produce while building long lasting client relationships. As a young and dynamic startup with under 4 years in business, we are rapidly expanding and offer exciting growth opportunities for driven individuals. We are looking for a proactive Sales Executive who can manage and expand our client base and to grow with us as we scale.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Existing Clients

- Build strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their orders and enquiries are processed accurately and on time.

- Conduct regular client meetings to assess needs, introduce new products and understand challenges, offering solutions promptly.

- Deliver exceptional post-sale support, addressing customer concerns and ensuring high satisfaction.

2. Generate New Business Leads

- Identify and pursue new opportunities within the F&B and hotel industry.

- Proactively schedule outreach meetings and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through networking and other lead generation methods.

3. Close Sales and Achieve Targets

- Convert leads into long-term accounts through effective meetings and negotiations.

- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively selling to both new and existing clients.

4. Sales Strategy and Competitor Analysis

- Analyze market trends and competitors to develop innovative sales strategies and product ideas.

- Provide insights to improve closing efficiency and enhance our market positioning.

5. Sales Performance Review & Strategy Development

- Monitor and assess sales performance to ensure targets are being met.

- Collaborate with management to refine outreach strategies and continuously drive sales growth.

6. Develop Sales Frameworks and Improve Processes

- Enhance systems for tracking leads, customer feedback, and product issues to ensure seamless sales operations.

- Continuously improve the customer journey by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in the sales process.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent.

2. Retail sales experience preferred, with a strong desire to excel in a sales-driven role.

3. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

4. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

6. Conversational proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred.

7. Candidates with a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle are preferred. The company will provide remuneration for petrol expenses.
