About the role

McConnell Dowell is looking for Site Engineers for our marine works project in Singapore.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective Engineering, Planning, Quality, Survey, Cost Control, and Scheduling functions for the project.
  • Adherence to all requirements of the McConnell Dowell Project Execution Plan.
  • Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities (attached).
  • Assisting Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager with daily site activities.
  • Monitoring/reporting site progress (direct employees and subcontract works).
  • Formulation of procedures for construction activities.
  • Interact with client personnel, and represent McConnell Dowell in a professional way.
  • Attendance and contribution to prestart, internal, HSE, and client meetings.
  • Adherence to all relevant legislation at work.
  • Promotion of MCD Core Values and Safety Culture.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have;

  • Degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant on-site civil construction experience.
  • Preferably with local experience and knowledge in the civil marine works field, jetty, pier, wharf etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work on alternate 6-day work week.
