Our client is from Construction Industry. They are looking for a WSH Officer to assist their Engineer team for the next phrase of their business. They are located Islandwide of Singapore– easily accessible. The WSH Officer is responsible for:
Duties
- Effectively lead the safety team and ensure the implementation of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Management Systems to minimize risks and accidents.
- Review and update all risk assessments to maintain compliance with WSH regulations and legal standards.
- Investigate on-site incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure adherence to WSH Act provisions, enforce safety measures, and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance among staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure the effectiveness of fire protection systems and emergency response management for the office and factory.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement activities like drills and competitions.
- Liaise with statutory bodies, keep up to date on WSH regulations, and ensure compliance with waste management and licensing requirements.
Requirements
- Registered as WSHO with MOM
- Min 3 years of experience performing as a WSHO
- Relevant Qualification in Workplace, Safety and Health / Engineering.
