Are you a legal professional, with exposure to the financial services space and has at least 7 years PQE? My client, a global insurer is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on legal advisory work related to the insurance product distribution channels. Review distribution agreements, and ensure compliance with the company’s risk management framework for external distributors.
- Handle legal documentation for new product launches, review existing product offerings, and evaluate risks on product governance.
- Provide legal input on marketing initiatives, digital innovation projects, and data privacy issues etc.
- Assist with regional legal matters when required.
Requirements:
- Min. 7 years PQE, with exposure to insurance or corporate commercial law.
- Open to lawyers with experience from law firms, ideally in-house legal counsels.
- Skilled in insurance-related legal documentation.
- Experience with commercial transactions e.g. data protection, dispute resolution, and consumer rights etc.
