Job Description:
Seeking a Tech-savvy solution driven Network production engineer Level2. Be apart of a dynamic global team supporting one of the largest customer install base. Independently discover and partner with various teams, developing a strong understanding behind application interconnectivity.
Possess the ability to lead on technical triages working closely with application, systems, vendors. Restoring stability to customer services in the quickest time factoring risks and potential reoccurrences.
Responsibilities:
- Possess a high level of curiosity in the networking space
- Experience lead in driving customer service remediation / mitigation
- Event monitoring with state of the art tools and customization
- Validation post change window. Certify completion without impact
- Competent in collecting packet captures on complex problem and using it to isolate and identify potential root cause
- Participate in post incident review for high impacting network related issues. Assist in the follow-up and potential permanent fixes with the respective teams/vendors
Required Skills:
- Cisco routing and switching exposure and certification
- F5 Loadbalancer covering an understanding of irules
- Have a working exposure to Firewalls / Proxy / DNS
- Possess good logical and critical thinking skills
- Shift work, includes weekends
Desired Skills:
- Interests in automation and toll reduction
