A global manufacturing company is currently seeking an accountant to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The role involves various tasks in accounts payable (AP) that include creation of new vendors, invoice verification, freight forwarder invoice handling, handling travel and expense claims, payment preparation, and petty cash handling. Accounts receivable (AR) tasks comprise customer creation, checking and monitoring sales invoices, handling customer receipts, generating monthly account statements, and monitoring AR in correspondence with the sales department. In terms of general ledger tasks, the role includes prepayment and journal handling, booking monthly and annual accruals, handling audit confirmation forms, and identifying and correcting discrepancies in ledgers and accounts. The position also entails bank reconciliation and providing support to the Finance and Accounting Management in all tasks assigned.
Your Profile
The desired candidate should possess at a Diploma in Accountancy or certification, along with at least 5 years of accounting experience. SAP FI/CO knowledge is essential.
