Job Title: Senior Specialist, AI Engineering
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Specialist in AI Engineering to lead the integration of AI models into production systems, ensuring their seamless operation and optimal performance. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive innovative AI solutions and making impactful contributions to our technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient, high-quality code following industry best practices.
- Utilize DevSecOps tools for effective code deployment and version management.
- Perform thorough research and analysis on retrieval techniques, language models, and generative AI methodologies.
- Work with data engineers to enhance data pipeline efficiency and ensure data accuracy.
- Continuously refine retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methods and processes, including embedding, chunking, loading, and search algorithms.
- Experiment with diverse retrieval strategies such as information retrieval, nearest-neighbor searches, and knowledge graph-based retrievals to enhance generative AI models.
- Optimize and fine-tune AI models to improve performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Thoroughly document AI models, algorithms, and processes.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to communicate results and methodologies.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to manage and execute prioritized projects and features.
- Implement automated testing and monitoring techniques to ensure the reliability and accuracy of AI systems.
Education:
Candidates with qualifications in quantitative, scientific, or technology disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Physics, or Bioinformatics are preferred.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in AI Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Proven experience in building scalable AI solutions using modern technology stacks, including cloud services, data pipelines, and databases.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and test-driven development.
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs for AI models.
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, including neural networks, optimization algorithms, and evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques, such as instruction design, template-based approaches, rule-based conditioning, or fine-tuning strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Node.js/TypeScript, C#, or Java.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and refining prompts for generative AI models, especially in creative or text generation contexts.
- Experience with AWS Cloud.
- Experience in building, deploying, and managing Docker images.
