Contract Period:
- Start Date: 1 February 2025
- End Date: 31 January 2026
- Option to Extend: The contract may be extended for an additional year, from 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027, at the discretion of the Authority.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Late Shift: One fixed weekday per week will have working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, changing every 6 months.
- Non-Working Days: No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception Duties:
- Man the reception counter in the General Office.
- Greet and attend to visitors, students, suppliers, and callers, providing information and directing them as necessary.
- Answer phone calls and route them appropriately.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update filing systems, records, and inventory.
- Manage the delivery of goods and oversee lost and found items.
- Maintain sickbay records and assist in managing sick or injured students, including handling early dismissal for medical reasons.
Provide basic first aid when required.
- Secretarial Tasks:
- Organize appointments and meetings.
- Assist with student matters, such as notifying students about fee arrears.
- Provide support in organizing school events and other related tasks.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the school management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Education:
- GCE 'N' (Normal) Level or equivalent, with at least 3 subjects (including English).
Preferred Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience as a receptionist in a school or similar environment.
- Proficient in handling administrative tasks and customer-facing responsibilities.
Skills:
- General proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and visitors.
