Responsibilities
· Responsible for development and project implementation activities, related to Mainframe systems
· Develop and enhance applications
· Participate in the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, and implementation
· Conduct quality assurance and change management
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex issues and optimize system performance
· Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards.
Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
· Minimum 10 years of experience in system analysis, design, and development on the IBM mainframe platform
· Solid expertise in IBM products - z/OS, DB2, COBOL, CICS, and MQ
· Experience in integrating applications between mainframe and open platforms
· Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and documentation
· Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated organizations
