Responsibilities
- To provide system administration of company Warehouse Management System, servers management on various platform such as IBM AIX Servers, Linux, Windows & Virturalisation infrastructure (VMware, Vcenter etc) for Lenovo & HP Servers
- Knowledge of High Availability System such as IBM PowerHA, Windows Clustering as well as Veeam Backup & Replication software.
- Review and improve system performance and capacity trends.
- Responsible for sizing and work out specification for systems tech refresh, systems installation, Setup and Configuration.
- Develop procedures for all system monitoring and troubleshooting, Disaster Recovery and system backup solutions.
- To support company network equipment (LAN & WAN) such as Routers, Network Switches, Firewall, Wifi Controllers, Access Points for various warehouses & distribution centers.
- Responsible for system management tools, cybersecurity policy, IT compliance & hardening and IT audit supports.
- Handle new project management of system infrastructure projects.
- Provide 24/7 support for Server Rooms, Production Servers and Network Supports for our Operations
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent with at least 1 years IT working experiences.
- Applicants who have good academic result with Diploma qualification relevant in Computer Science with at least 5 years IT working experiences.
- Good Hands-on knowledge in SysAdmin (AIX, Linux, Redhat, Window VMWare, vCenter, Veeam softwares).
- Knowledge and experience in common networking protocols and services like MS Azure, DHCP, DNS, FTP/FTPS, File & Print, LAN, WAN, Wifi etc
- Knowledge in Virtualization Technology (VMWare, vSphere, Vcenter, Azure/AWS), HA Clustering, Disaster Recovery & Backup Solutions.
- Experience in server hardware and IT Infrastructure and network equipment (Setup, Install, Configure, Troubleshooting and Monitoring)
- Certifications in above knowledges will be an added advantage
- Good analytical problem-solving skills with innovative approach in providing solutions.
- Competent at documenting standard/application operating procedures, process, and work instructions.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
