Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the retail shop to ensure smooth functioning and achieve sales targets.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Schedule staff to maintain effective and full operational capacity.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Liaise with Government Statutory Board, landlord and 3rd party service providers
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee stock management.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Analyze sales performance and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional strategies.
- Ensure property cleanliness and organisation.
- Oversee training on food handling and safety standards.
- Responsible for ordering, receiving and checking of goods and supplies
Essential Skills & Requirements:
- At least an 'O' Level, higher education level is preferred.
- Hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster positive working relationships.
- Ability to assist in hiring and training new staff.
- Must be able to work a 6-day work week, including extended hours, shift work, weekends and public holidays.
