Job Summary:
We provide a comprehensive one-stop Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management (E/CTRM) solution, empowering professionals in the financial and commodities markets to manage their trading operations efficiently. We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who can bridge sales, product and IT, acting as the key link between our sales team, product development and technical experts. This role involves working closely with clients to help them understand the value of our solutions by blending technical expertise, product knowledge and sales acumen. The successful candidate will support the sales process by providing deep product insights and will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client engagement and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers, guiding them through product features and capabilities.
- Assist the sales team in qualifying and closing deals by delivering tailored technical knowledge and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to translate client feedback into product enhancements or new features, with a strong focus on improving UI/UX.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Conduct workshops, webinars and presentations for diverse audiences, ensuring customer needs are addressed effectively.
- Work closely with IT, product and UX/UI teams to ensure smooth product integration, resolving technical and usability issues.
- Build strong relationships with customers, driving engagement and ensuring satisfaction with product performance and user interface.
- Stay updated on product developments, UX trends and industry changes to proactively meet client needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or UI/UX Design.
- 2+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering or technical product support.
- Strong understanding of software solutions and technical sales processes, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Previous experience in UI/UX design or working with user experience teams to enhance product usability.
- Experience in enterprise software sales, IT consulting or product management is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
- Highly motivated, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments (sales, product, IT, UI/UX).
- Willingness to travel as required.
