Ship Management and Marine Logistic Company is looking for a committed Assistant Technical Superintendent / Technical Superintendent to join our team:
Job responsibilities:
- Support Senior Technical Superintendent to manage the technical operation of the fleet of oil tankers.
- Oversee daily quotation and requisition process for service and store needs.
- Monitor, attend and follow up with the ship’s Class Survey, routine inspections, oil major inspections, TMSA, statutory surveys and third-party ship inspection.
- Coordinate and attend to all technical matters pertaining to ship upkeep maintenance, operation and performance including repairs and dry-docking.
- Monitoring and updating ship’s technical Plan Maintenance System (PMS).
- Prepare and manage financial budgets and cost control for maintenance, repairs, stores, modifications, and dry docking while ensuring compliance with industry, Class, International and statutory regulations of ISM/ISPS/MLC.
Requirements:
1. Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering (Maritime or Electrical Engineering majors are preferred)
2. Sea faring work experience as Marine Engineer (minimum COC Class 3) on Tankers
3. Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Experience
4. Responsible, resourceful & able to work independently
