Job Description
- Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and compliance of Company’s QEHS Management System for all projects
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure the Permit to work system in place and keep proper records
- Ensure project's compliance with all Singapore statutory requirements for Health, Safety and Environment at all times.
- Responsible on work plan / Risk Assessment / Safe Work Procedures /Method Statements for all work activities, ensure brief to all workers before start work
- Inspection of site to ensure all facilities, machineries and equipment relevant to the maintenance of EHS are in proper working condition and do not pose hazard
- Attend WSH related meetings, prepare and submit weekly safety report as required by management
- Conduct safety inspections / audits inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
- Organise lifting team, prepare lifting plan and lifting operation
- Ensure proper communication and coordination among other work contractors and safety personnel to facilitate the smooth and safe conduct of all work activities.
- Conduct accident / incident investigations, recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence, reporting and follow up measures with authorities, consultants and related parties
- Facilitate and conduct internal auditing, to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, liaise with appointed auditors on the QEHS Management System
- Plan, organize, conduct in–house safety training / other activities for all workers to develop and maintain the EHS consciousness in the work site in establishing healthy and safe working conditions.
- Ensure all workers are issued with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and regularly check their PPE to ensure they are fit for use and/or not expired.
- Prepare legal register and monitor it to ensure compliance with legal requirements including Singapore Standard and Code of Practice about EHS.
- Any related ad-hoc duties or assignment as instructed by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess Diploma /Degree or equivalent in related field
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
- Must be valid registered WSHO
- Knowledge of construction process & activities
- Able to work independently, competent and able to multi-task
