ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

TSH Corporation Limited and its subsidiaries and associated company (together, the” Sloshed Group”) is in the business of (i) operating a multi-concept chain of pubs and bars, and (ii) the import and distribution of spirits, wines and liquors. Sloshed Group currently operates several outlets covering five concepts. Quaich Bar (2 outlets) and Signature Reserve with whisky as the main theme, and The Other Room and The Other Roof which are cocktail bars.


JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

  1. Oversee all operational aspects in the day-to-day management of the bar including event planning, maintaining and updating customer lists and reservations.
  2. Manage the inventory of stocks of the bar in compliance with all standard operating procedures.
  3. Ensure compliance to safety and hygiene procedures and policies, as well as maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of premises.
  4. Handle guests’ feedback on service standards, build/maintain rapport, explore and expand networking to establish strong customer base.
  5. Implement and conduct relevant staff training on food and beverage offering, bar operational procedures and quality service standards.
  6. Work with Human Resources and Administration department in the performance review of staff members, staff recruitment, development and retention.
  7. Undertakes any other responsibilities assigned by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum 2 years of working experience in cocktail bar.
  2. Strong knowledge of international cocktails and whiskies is a must.
  3. Strong planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented and a desire for service quality.
  5. Knowledge of roster scheduling is preferred.
  6. High driver for results and ability to perform under pressure.
  7. Able to work with diverse personalities both on the staff and guests.
  8. Ability to work on rotating shifts including weekends/ public holidays.
