Job Description
- Market Strategy Development: Create and execute targeted strategies to drive sales growth by leveraging direct insights from the market and tailoring approaches to industry-specific needs across Asia.
- On-the-Ground Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders on the ground to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and identify opportunities for sales growth and expansion.
- Competitor and Market Analysis: Continuously assess competitor activity and market trends, using direct feedback from stakeholders to collaborate with the marketing team on refining product positioning and pricing.
- Sales and Business Expansion: Focus on building a strong sales pipeline by being present in the market, negotiating deals, and developing partnerships that align with the company's growth objectives in the region.
The Successful Applicant
- About 5 years of relevant industrial experience - particularly in the B2B technical textiles, protective clothing, or complementary/substitute industries within the Asia region
- Established contact network across relevant sectors (ie. manufacturers, distributors, end-users, procurement manager etc)
