We are seeking a candidate to build AI-powered solutions, with a focus on Visual Analytics with opportunities to work in other AI domains as needed. Knowledge in Computer Vision will be mandatory. You will take AI models from research to production, evaluating and training models, building frontends for these models etc.
Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends, research, and innovations in AI.
- Perform applied research by selecting and assessing state-of-the-art models, datasets, and methodologies for integration into our internal systems.
- Develop and deploy AI applications across various environments (e.g., edge, cloud), making informed choices regarding architecture and model selection.
- Create scalable, low-latency video analytics pipelines for multiple streams.
- Collaborate with your team to tackle unique challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Share knowledge, tools, and best practices with your team and other departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in end-to-end AI application development, from initial concept to production.
- Strong grasp of AI algorithms and statistical methods, with the ability to implement models based on academic papers.
- Proficiency in Python, with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Flax), web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Sanic), traditional databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite), and vector databases (e.g., Milvus, FAISS).
- Capacity to balance independence and collaboration; self-motivated in problem-solving while knowing when to consult colleagues.
- A passion for and curiosity about the craft; you code, read, experiment, and explore new AI tools or models in your free time.
This is a hybrid position, 3 days in the office and 2 days out
