We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar, which serves both alcoholic beverages and specialty coffee drinks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both areas, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and proven leadership skills. You will be responsible for managing the bar team, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Daily Bar Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuring smooth service during operational hours.
  • Beverage Preparation: Ensure high-quality preparation of both alcoholic beverages (cocktails, wines, beers) and coffee drinks (espresso-based, pour-overs, cold brews, etc.), maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update drink menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, trends, and customer preferences.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise bartenders and baristas, ensuring they adhere to service standards and provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Experience: Engage with guests, ensuring that their needs are met, and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the bar.
  • Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels for all beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), bar supplies, and equipment. Place orders and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely restocking.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the bar complies with health, safety, and legal regulations, including proper handling and serving of alcohol. Enforce age verification processes to prevent underage drinking.
  • Financial Management: Monitor bar revenue and profitability, manage cash handling, track sales, and control costs related to beverages and staff.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute special events such as cocktail tastings, coffee workshops, and themed bar nights, driving customer engagement and sales.

Requirements and skills

  • Strong knowledge of mixology and coffee brewing techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in POS systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
