Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager specializing in precision engineering, with a focus on plastics and silicon. This individual will oversee the design, development, and delivery of projects within the precision manufacturing space, ensuring that engineering solutions meet stringent specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to drive innovation and deliver precision-engineered products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budget, and quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency strategies.
Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Materials and Manufacturing:Ensure that plastic and silicon materials meet the required specifications for high-performance applications, including thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties.
Collaborate with manufacturing and tooling teams to ensure accurate production of components.
Review and validate prototypes, ensuring precision in alignment with technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Quality Assurance:Implement and uphold quality control processes in line with industry standards and company guidelines.
Lead the resolution of technical issues related to precision engineering and manufacturing processes.
Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:Lead a multi-disciplinary team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Liaise with cross-functional departments such as R&D, production, quality control, and supply chain to ensure project alignment.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the precision engineering sector, focusing on plastics and silicon components.
- Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes, including molding, machining, and tooling.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Experience working with high-tolerance engineering projects, particularly in industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
