Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, coordination and supervision of ACMV system. This position involves technical activities, independent thinking and problem-solving skills to contribute to the success of our projects. As a key member of our engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will have exposure to local statutory requirements, industry standards/norm, project management, equipment selection and costings.
Responsibilities
- Involved in design development, drawings and material submissions for approval, QA/ QC works such as inspection,testing & commissioning, handing over of installation.
- Attend meetings and preparation of reports for site progress and schedules. Coordinate site safety management system.
- Liaise and coordinate ACMV installations with main contractor, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Supervision and monitor daily site work done, and plan for catchup as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in construction.
- Experience in ACMV, chilled water system installation and design. Able to perform basis engineering calculation with MS Excel.
- Good communication, independent and can liaise with main contractor and sub-contractors effectively.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and drawings.
