Responsibilities
· Perform daily health check to ensure the system is running as per schedule.
· Monitor the jobs and recover the job if there is any job failure.
· Understand the application architecture and ensure IT disaster recovery plan is tested regularly for effectiveness.
· Work with vendor in supporting day-to-day operations, investigate issues and to perform service recovery if any production incident.
· Conduct regular meetings with vendors to Work with vendors on any fix implementation, supporting end-to-end testing etc.
· Perform regular application review and to ensure compliance.
· Have a good understanding of the interfaces for the supported applications, provide impact analysis to the upstream/downstream should there be any incident arise or changes going to make.
· Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of application services.
· Perform Root Cause Analysis and identify areas for review and for improvement. Responsible for handling Change Management, and capable to communicate with different work groups within IT and BU/Operations / vendors on issue reported.
Skills/Requirement
· Minimum 5 years Backoffice Application Support Experience on Local/Foreign Exchanges for Equity markets.
· Sound knowledge of Financial Markets products and Order Management Flows.
· Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent results.
· Preferably to have application knowledge on NovaCAS, Margin and Control-m.
· Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role in margin migration projects.
· Strong knowledge of Security house, margin systems, processes, and technologies.
· Preferably have knowledge in supporting Windows, Unix, and Oracle systems.
· Deep Knowledge of Unix scripting, Control M Scheduler, crystal reports, PLSQL and SQL language with common database platforms such as SQL Server and Oracle
· Knowledge and experience with DevOps practice and tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Junit, and Jenkins etc.) is a plus.
