We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Aluminum Designer/Drafter with expertise in aluminum and glass design or building industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and efficient designs and technical drawings for aluminum structures. This role requires proficiency in design software and the ability to adapt to new technologies such as ERP and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and designs for aluminum and glass structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop design solutions that meet project requirements.
- Utilize AutoCAD or other relevant design software to prepare design layouts, detailed schematics, and material specifications.
- Be open to learning and utilizing new software and technology such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to streamline processes.
- Review and ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Apply knowledge of aluminum and glass properties to create efficient, durable, and sustainable designs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet project goals.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in drafting and designing, particularly in aluminum and glass or the building industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; knowledge of 3D modeling tools is a plus.
- Willingness to pick up and adapt to new software and technologies such as ERP and CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of aluminum and glass properties, and/or familiarity with the building industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
