We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of quantity surveying, cost management, and contract administration for various projects. You will provide cost advice during feasibility studies, and ensure that all financial and contractual aspects of the projects are well managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the overall quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contract management activities for assigned projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, providing accurate early cost advice to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor project costs to ensure budgets are adhered to and provide regular financial reports to project stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and managing contract negotiations with contractors.
- Oversee contract documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating any disputes.
- Prepare valuation reports for interim payments and final accounts, ensuring prompt payments to contractors.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
Requirements:
- Recognized Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying, including experience in managing multiple projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and tendering processes.
- Ability to conduct detailed cost analysis and provide accurate financial advice.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
