Tooling Engineer ( Familiar with CAD – SolidWorks )
Salary: $4000 & Above ( Based On Experience )
Location: Nearby Sembawang MRT
Working Hours: 8.15am - 5.30pm (Mon to Fri)
Company specialises in precision plastic injection Moulding, insert Moulding, and component sub-assembly under Manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Meeting all IATF16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.
- Develop and improve Tooling/Molds for new and existing products.
- Monitor and improve production output and yield of the new/existing Tooling/Molds.
- Improve product quality and manufacturing capabilities of the new/existing products.
- Conduct process-mapping, data collection, analyze data, makes inference, implement & track.
- Provide daily production support to the Molding Operation.
- Supervise 8 Pax Toolmakers.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Tool & Die / Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Plastic Injection Mold Design/Mold making OR in the capacity as a Tooling Engineer preferred.
Job Skills:
- In-depth knowledge on plastic materials, injection molding, mold design and mold fabrication.
- Conversant with Geometric Tolerance, ISO9001, IATF16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Tooling drawings drafting using SolidWorks preferred.
- Conversant with Automotive customers' requirements, Project Management & Project Scheduling (Gantt Chart), Statistical Analysis & Product Tolerance. Analysis, Industrial Safety.
- Analytic Problem Solving and meticulous.
- Able to prepare financial justification for project funding preferred.
- Good command of English Language.
